Hours of Operation: Open to school districts by appointment only.

Fees: Fee is based on individual program, call for price. Not open to public.

Mission: To improve academic learning for school-age children while helping to preserve the environment.

Target Audience: School-age youth (pre K to 12th grade), and teachers.

Facility Description: Outdoor Learning Labs located at Sunken Meadow State Park, Connetquot River State Park Preserve, and Caleb Smith State Park Preserve. The Marion Carll Farm, in Commack, is a 9-acre, newly restored, historical farm.

Facilities for People with Special Needs: All facilities accommodate people/students with special needs. Can create programs for school-aged students with special needs.

Types of Programs and Resources Offered: Curriculum materials, educational programs for school groups, field trips including oceanographic programs aboard vessels on the Great South Bay,barrier beach studies, in-school programs, and teacher training.

Topics Addressed: Wide variety of outdoor and environmental education topics. Call for current offerings.
