Long Island South Shore Estuary Reserve
Comprehensive Management Plan
Implementation Status Report

Following the adoption of the Long Island South Shore Estuary Reserve Comprehensive Management Plan, the Chair of the Reserve Council submits biannual implementation status reports to the Governor, Senate Majority Leader, and Assembly Speaker. The reports document progress made by Reserve Council members and their implementation partners to improve and maintain the estuary's water quality, protect and restore its living resources, improve knowledge for ecosystem management, enhance public use and enjoyment of the estuary, sustain the region's rich maritime heritage and estuary-related economy, and advance education and stewardship of Reserve resources.
